Abscess nearby-maxillary - a purulent inflammation with formation of the limited center of fusion of tissues of maxillofacial area.
Etiology. The admixed flora, mainly streptococcuses and staphilococcuses. As a source of an infection serve nearby-apical and the centers of an inflammation inside of a tooth and gums.
The pathogenesis is bound to diffusion of contagiums to adjoining soft tissues on a lymphatic and venous bed or by absorption of an osteal tissue.
Signs. The limited tumescence and fluctuation under the intense skin or a mucosa. The expression of the general phenomena (a headache, a cold fit, a leukocytosis) is defined by the sizes and localization of an abscess. Abscesses under gums can spontaneously be opened.
The forecast favorable.
Prophylaxis: well-timed noninvasive treatment and elimination of pockets in gums.
