The most rare disease is an illness a hen or as it still name dared illness, suffer only in tribe For in east part of New Guinea. This disease has an absolute mortality. One of the versions explaining the reason of occurrence of illness, it is possible to name the specific form of a cannibalism - eating of a human brain.
ALIMENTARY DYSTROPHIA

Alimentary dystrophia - illness of the long insufficient delivery, described the general attrition, frustration of all kinds of a metabolism, a dystrophia of tissues and organs with disturbance of their functions.

Etiology, pathogenesis. Insufficient entering in an organism and the absorption of nutrients caused exogenous, and also the endogenous reasons (a tumoral, cicatrical esophageal stenosis, the gatekeeper, syndromes of a failure of digestion, an absorption). Matter not only absolute, but also relative (disproportionate to carried out physical work) depression of caloric content of nutrition, qualitative changes of a diet, especially deficiency of fibers (mainly animals), Adepses; a disadvantage of irreplaceable amino acids, fat acids and vitamins (first of all liposoluble). At a long disadvantage of a delivery there is a hypoproteinemia, dystrophic changes in various organs and tissues, function of many organs is broken, there is a polyglandular failure. Dystrophic changes in a wall of a digestive tube and digestive glands are accompanied by progressing disturbances of their functions and even more aggravate changes of an exchange in an organism.

Signs, current. Allocate 3 stages of an alimentary dystrophia. The stage 1 is characterized by dropping of a delivery, a pollakiuria, intensifying of appetite, thirst, aspiration to the raised consumption of table salt. The general condition of patients sharply does not suffer. In 2 stages alongside with distinct growing thin the general condition of patients worsens, there is a muscular delicacy, the working capacity is lost, there are edemas on the legs, the moderate hypothermia of a body. The raised appetite and thirst, a pollakiuria, initial dystrophic changes in various organs, changes of mentality are observed. For 3 stages the cachexia, full disappearance of a hypodermic fatty tissue, an atrophy of muscles, sharp delicacy (up to full impossibility are characteristic to make independent movements), the apathy, expressed changes of mentality, polyhypovitaminosis, attributes of an intimate, hepatic failure, anemia, excruciating constipations, is frequent decubituses. Then the expressed hypothermia (the body temperature decreases on occassion to 30 degrees), a hypotension, an acidosis develops; in many cases the hungry coma develops or there comes sudden mors. Disease at absence of emergency measures progressing down to development of a hungry coma. The destruction of patients in 3 stages of an alimentary dystrophia comes in the form of or slow gradual dieding, or the so-called accelerated mors (within day), the infectious disease caused by connection, and also sudden mors during the moment even a small physical strain.
