Alveolitis - an inflammation of walls of the small cavity of the removed tooth.
Etiology. An infection, an extracting trauma.
Pathogenesis. A destruction of a clot in an extracting wound, advance of the process which has developed in the small cavity of a tooth before its excision is frequent.
Signs. A strong pain, a fervescence up to 37,5 degrees, a putrefactive smell from a mouth. Desna near edge of the small cavity is poured by a blood, is hydropic, the bloody clot is fused or the small cavity gapes. On the roentgenogram splinters of a bone and a tooth can be taped.
The forecast favorable. Quite often cup pains are tightened for 2-3 weeks.
Prophylaxis: a noninvasive exodontia.
