Amotio of a retina - distinguish primary and secondary amotio of a retina which develops as a result of traumas, inflammatory processes, tumours of an eye.

Pathogenesis. At sharp movements, a physical strain, a bruise of an eye in degenerately changed retina there can be defects through which the liquid gets into subretinal space from a vitreous. As a result of it, and also owing to the tension of a retina bound in basic with the changes of a vitreous, there comes its amotio. The pigmental leaf of a retina remains on a place. Signs: Sudden deterioration of vision, occurrence of " a dark cloud » in connection with abaissement of a part of a field of vision.
