Anthrax - a purulent necrotic inflammation of several hair follicles and a hypodermic fatty tissue around of them, often accompanied a necrosis and a casting-off of a skin on the big site. At an anthrax the uniform general inflammatory infiltrate is formed.
The etiology and pathogenesis are similar to those at a furuncle, however at an anthrax processes of a necrosis prevail. The lymphadenitis almost always takes place. Favourite localization - occipital area and a back. Contributing factors are the diabetes mellitis, a cachexia of any genesis, an immunodepression.
Signs, current. Big, dense, sharply morbid infiltrate with the expressed hyperemia and a cyanosis (in the center) skins where there are some fistulous apertures with purulent separated and necrotic bottom is marked. Simultaneously with development of local process quickly appear and attributes of the general intoxication accrue: a high fever, a cold fit.
