Under the isolated systolic arterial hypertensias understand proof rising systolic arterial pressure above 140 mm of a mercurial column at normal diastolic arterial pressure.
At absence of complications of an arterial hypertensia proceeds almost asymptomatically and it is taped only at casual survey of the patient. Arterial pressure measure in 1-2 hours after reception of nutrition, after five-minute rest, in position sitting; at elderly patients and sick of a diabetes mellitis measurement of arterial pressure in a prone position and standing is recommended also.
