Asthenopia - quickly coming fatigue of eyes during visual work.

Asthenopia muscular. An etiology, a pathogenesis. A myopia, a heterophoria, delicacy of convergence, a failure of reserves; the combination of these reasons is frequent. As a result of a dissociation between accommodation and convergence there is a delicacy, fast fatigue of internal direct muscles of an eyeglobe. At a heterophoria and the weakened ability the asthenopic phenomena arise owing to a nervously-muscular overstrain for overcoming the tendency to a deviation of one eye.

Signs, current. Fatigue of eyes, a pain in opinion of and a headache, a transient diplopia at visual work on close distance. These phenomena are quickly eliminated if to cover one eye.
