Barley - the acute limited purulent inflammation of edge of a century.
Etiology, pathogenesis: a becoming infected of a hair follicle or a sebaceous gland.
Signs. Limited sharply morbid tumescence on edge of a century. In 2-4 days on its apex the yellowish head at which opening are allocated pus and particles of the devitalized tissue is formed. Sometimes, especially at expression of pus, barley can serve as the reason of a phlegmon of an orbit, a clottage of a cavernous sine, a meningitis.
