CARIES OF A TEETH

Caries of a teeth - the disease, described progressing destruction of firm tissues of a tooth.

Pathogenesis. The microflora of a plaque damages an organic basis of an enamel which thus loses ability to fix mineral substrate. Carious defect is formed. Fastness to caries is predetermined by structure of the enamel depending both from conditions of an odontosis, and from a condition of local immunity of an oral cavity.

Signs, current. Caries distinguish on an acuteness of current and depth of a lesion. The patient complains of a pain at hit in a carious cavity of cold, acidic, sweet nutrition. Elimination of a stimulus interrupts a pain. Spontaneous pains does not happen. In an initial stage on a surface of an enamel there is is dirty-grey or brown maculae. At superficial caries defect within the limits of an enamel, its bottom coarsely; at average caries defect is widespread for dentinal enamel bond; at deep - grasps all layers of a dentine. At acute current the tissues involved in carious process, is dirty-grey color, are softened, the carious center of the wrong form, its edge quaggy. Series of a teeth are amazed. At the sharpest current some cavities are amazed more teeth, in each tooth. At chronic current the amazed tissues are painted, dense, their edges rather equal. A separate teeth are amazed. Treatment - excising of the amazed tissues (an enamel, a dentine), formation п5лости and restoration of the form and function of a tooth. Excising make dental borers of the different form. This intervention demands a premedication and anesthesia (it is the most effective - conduction). Carious defect is filled with a seal.
