Combustions of eyes - arise at influence of a heat (thermal combustions) or chemical substances (corrosive burns).
Signs. Distinguish 4 degrees of a combustion of blepharons, conjunctivas and corneas. At combustions I of a degree (easy combustions) - a hyperemia of blepharons and conjunctivas, superficial opacification or erosion of a cornea. For combustions of II degree (combustions of average gravity) formation of bubbles on a skin of blepharons, superficial easily taken out Membranulas on a conjunctiva and superficial opacification of a cornea is characteristic. At combustions of III degree (serious combustions) - a necrosis of a skin of blepharons, deep, not taken out Membranulas on a conjunctiva and deep opacification on a cornea, reminding matte glass. Combustions of IV degree (very serious combustions) differ the widespread necrosis of a skin, a conjunctiva and a sclera and very deep opacification of a cornea which reminds a porcelain plate. After a casting-off of necrotic sites the ulcerative surface which heals with formation of the cicatrixes shortening a mucosa is naked. In a cornea there are opacifications of various intensity. At serious combustions adnations between a conjunctiva of a sclera and blepharons are formed. Combustions can become complicated besides, an iridocyclitis, a secondary glaucoma, and at a becoming infected - an entophthalmia.
