CRYPTORCHISM

Cryptorchism - anomaly of a locating of one or both testicles which have not reached a scrotum. Two groups of anomalies distinguish: a delay of a descent of testis at which the testicle in the fetal period is late at any stage of the way from the bottom pole of a primary kidney to the bottom scrotums; and an ectopia of a testicle at which it evades from a usual way of lowering and settles down under a skin of a pubis, a femur, a perineum, a sexual member or in a basin. In norm the testicle is completely generated on 4 month of fetal development, on 5 month it reaches an internal aperture of the inguinal channel, on 7-8 month - a root of a scrotum. At a birth in 95 % of cases it borrows normal position, month later normal position of a testicle is marked already at 99 % of children. In 30 % of cases the cryptorchism has false character: the mobile testicle is easily displaced in inguinal the channel, at research it can be freely lowered in a scrotum. A meeting delay of a testicle has practical value more often. It happens two kinds: Abdominal and inguinal.

Signs, current. In a scrotum of a testicle is not present. If in a scrotum one testicle the second usually settles down at an external aperture of the inguinal channel or at a root of a scrotum is defined. Quite often find out depression of a spermatogenesis. In 25 % of cases the inguinal hernia is defined. During operation at 95 % of patients find not obliterated vulval process of a peritoneum. Danger of a malignancy of not fallen testicle in 14 times above, than fallen, also makes 3,6 %. At a delay of both testicles in an abdominal cavity the phenomena of a testicular failure expressed in a delay of the general physical development, a underdevelopment of secondary sexual attributes, the phenomena of an eunuchoidism or an obesity develop.
