ELECTROTRAUMA

Electrotrauma. The lesion from an electrotrauma can occur at a simultaneous contact of two wires of electroposting; in most cases one of poles is earthed, thus there is enough contact of not earthed pole at good contact to the ground (water, wet footwear, soles on nails, wet ground). Gravity of a lesion is defined by force and a direction of a current, duration of influence. The general displays at influence of a current of a low strain (less than 500) are more expressed, than at influence of a high-tension current (more than 1000); local displays are more expressed at influence of a high-tension current.

Signs. The general influence of a current consists in sharp convulsive reduction of muscles of the extremity was contact to a current. At a high strain and force of a current - a loss of consciousness, respiratory standstill, an arrhythmia, a ciliary arrhythmia, an asystolia of heart, sometimes fibrillation of a myocardium. Disturbances of intimate activity are possible and in some days after influence of a current, as well as clottages of vessels of the amazed extremity. Sometimes the victim can be rejected aside from a place of a trauma therefore there are serious damages of bones and internal organs. Local displays are caused by transformation of electric energy in thermal with development of combustions. In a place of an input and an output of a current « labels of a current » which center has a combustion of 3 degrees are formed foraminous round or even can be charred.
