Endometriosis - a heterotopia in organs and tissues where it in norm does not happen. Quite often the endometriosis is accompanied by a perifocal inflammation. Diffusion and development of an endometriosis is closely bound to function of ovaries. At a natural or artificial menopause the centers of an endometriosis are exposed to an involution.
Signs. Typical display of a genital endometriosis (except for an endometriosis of a neck of a uterus) - an abdominal pain in the premenstrual period and during a menses, caused by a swelling of glandular elements of a tissue, a clump of a blood and a secret of glands in the closed cavities. Practically in half of cases the genital endometriosis is accompanied by sterility. For an adenomyosis abdominal pains during a menses (as a rule, irradiating in a sacrum and a loin), a menorrhagia, poor bloody allocation from sexual ways before and after a menses, augmentation of a uterus are characteristic.
