Entophthalmia - a purulent inflammation of internal environments of an eye with formation of an abscess in a vitreous.

Etiology, pathogenesis: a becoming infected of intraocular tissues after getting wound of an eye, cavitary operations on an eyeglobe, at perforated helcomas or owing to an innidiation of an infection at purulent septic processes.

Signs. A pain in an eye, the century and the conjunctivas, the expressed admixed injection of an eyeglobe, sharp dropping of visual acuity has swelled. The cornea is hydropic. In the forward chamber quite often exsudate. At research in passing light the yellow-grey either yellow-greenish reflex or its absence is taped.
