Gangrene gas - the pathological process caused by a mephitic gangrene, accompanied a progressing edema and a necrosis of soft tissues, an aerogenesis and the expressed intoxication of an organism bacteriemic toxins and products of disintegration of tissues. Disease causes obligate microbes which live in the ground and a street dust. The wounds polluted by the ground, having pockets of wounds, the sites of a necrosis badly supplied by a blood of a tissue, not subjected to a primary surgical treatment, are predisposed to a gas gangrene.
Signs, current. The incubation interval can last from several o'clock till 7 days. In typical cases in hours there would be disturbances of the general condition with a tachycardia and a fever. Integuments of grey-dark blue color. The wound is sharply morbid, its edges acyanotic, hydropic, lifeless, a bottom of a wound dry. Painting of visible muscles in a wound reminds boiled meat. At pressing blisters of gas are allocated for edges of a wound from tissues with a unpleasant is sweetish-putrefactive smell.
