Hyperdysinsulinism (hypoglycemic illness) - the disease, described the attacks of a hypoglycemia caused by absolute or relative rising of a level of an insulin.
Etiology, pathogenesis. The diffusive hyperplasia of cells of a pancreas, disease of the central nervous system, a liver, the tumours cosecreting insulinoid substances, tumours play a role (more often a connective tissue parentage), absorbing a glucose, insufficient production of hormones, etc. the Hypoglycemia leads to disturbance of a functional condition of the central nervous system.
Signs, current. Are ill in the age of 26-55 years, more often women. Attacks of a hypoglycemia arise usually in the morning on an empty stomach, after long starvation; and at a functional hyperdysinsulinism - after reception of carbohydrates. The exercise stress, mental experiences can be the provoking moments. At women in the beginning attacks can repeat only in the premenstrual period. The beginning of an attack is characterized by sensation of famine, a sweating, delicacy, a tremor of extremities, a tachycardia, feeling of pavor, paleness, a diplopia, a hyperphrenia, unmotivated acts, a desorientation, a dysarthtia; in the further there come a loss of consciousness, the clinical and tonic cramps sometimes reminding an epileptic attack, a coma with a hypothermia and a hyporeflexia. Sometimes attacks begin with a sudden loss of consciousness.
