Illness of the cat's scratchs - the acute infectious disease arising at contact to infected cats - at a sting, scratchs. It is characterized by a fever, a lymphadenitis, augmentation of a liver and a lien, sometimes primary effect and an exanthema.
Etiology, pathogenesis. The originator concerns to chlamydias. The infected cats remain healthy. Infection of the person occurs contact by, through damages of a skin or a conjunctiva of eyes.
Signs, current. The incubation interval lasts from 3 till 60 days (more often 23 weeks). In typical cases illness can begin with occurrence of a small ulcer or a pustule on a place of a scratch (sting), the state of health remains good. After a while after infection there is a lymphadenitis - the most typical attribute of illness. Happen other lymph nodes more often are enlarged axillary, ulnar, cervical, less often.
