Ischemic heart disease - the chronic pathological process caused by a failure of blood supply of a myocardium; in overwhelming majority of (97-98 %) cases are consequence of an atherosclerosis of coronary arteries of heart. The basic clinical forms - a stenocardia, a myocardial infarction and a cardiosclerosis; two first - acute, and a cardiosclerosis - chronic forms of illness. They meet at patients as separately, and in combinations, including their various complications and consequences (a heart failure, disturbances of an intimate rhythm and endocardiac conduction, a thromboembolism). It defines a wide range of medical and preventive measures.
The forecast and working capacity depend on frequency of exacerbations of illness, and also from character and stability of disturbances of functions of heart (and other organs), come as a result of complications of disease.
