Leukemoid tests - changes in a blood and organs the hemopoiesises reminding leukoses and other tumours of hemopoietic system, but always having reactive character and not transformed that tumour to which they are similar. Can be caused by various infections, intoxications, tumours, metastasises of tumours in an osteal brain.

Pathogenesis. The mechanism of development unequal at various types of reactions: in one cases - an output in a blood of unripe cellular elements, in others - raised production of blood cells or restriction of an output of cells in tissues, or presence of several mechanisms simultaneously. Leukemoid tests can concern changes in a blood, an osteal brain, lymph nodes, a lien. Special group of reactions the changes of albuminous fractions of blood imitating tumours of immunocompetent system - make a multiple myeloma. Leukemoid tests remind a myelosis or a subleukemic myelosis, accompany with serious infections, intoxications. Unlike a myelosis the reactive leukocytosis always has in the basis the serious process, accompanied a fervescence, presence of the inflammatory centers, a sepsis. To massive destruction of microbial bodies and hit in a blood of an endotoxin are bound emission in a blood of a reserve of the osteal brain, raised production of granulocytes. In the beginning of a myelosis and at a subleukemic myelosis with which it is possible to confuse an inflammatory picture of the blood, any intoxication it is not observed.
