At occurrence of a mediastinitis on a background of dontogenous phlegmons of a neck the patient has a pain behind a breast bone, heat, a cold fit, a tachycardia. At survey of a neck sharply morbid inflammatory infiltrate reaching a clavicle is marked. If opening a phlegmon of a neck from wounds the appreciable discharge departs, sometimes with a unpleasant putrefactive smell earlier was spent. At effleurage on a breast bone the pain amplifies.
