Mononeuropathies (neuritises and neuralgias) - the isolated lesions of separate nervous trunks.
Etiology. In a basis of disease the direct trauma, compressions of a nervous trunk lays. Contributing factors serve a superficial locating of a nerve on bones or its passage in the channels, formed as osteal copular and muscular elements. In similar anatomic conditions corresponding sites of nervous trunks are especially sensitive to a chronic professional or sports trauma, a prelum of an extremity during a deep dream and so on. At an atherosclerosis, a diabetes mellitis are caused by an ischemia (ischemic neuropathies). The immediate becoming infected of separate nerves is observed very seldom (it is characteristic only for a leprosy). In considerable number of cases the etiology of a neuropathy is unknown.
Signs, current. The lesion of the basic trunk of a nerve leads to abaissement of its all functions. More distal centers cause only partial disturbances. The clinical picture depends on a damage rate of nervous fibers.
