MYCOPLASMOSES

Mycoplasmoses - the human infectious diseases, described a lesion of organs of respiration, genitourinary organs, the central nervous system and a fetal lesion of a fetus.

Etiology, pathogenesis. The lesion of organs of respiration is caused by a mycoplasma of a pneumonia. Infection atriums - mucosas of a respiratory or genitourinary tract (depending on a kind of mycoplasmas) where there is an inflammatory process. Transfer of the originator occurs airborne by or at sexual contact. At pregnant women there can come a fetal becoming infected of a fetus.

Signs, current. An incubation interval - from 4 till 25 days (more often 7-14 days). The infection proceeds in the form of acute respiratory disease, an acute pneumonia, an abacterial (not gonococcal) urethritis, gynecologic inflammatory diseases. The general state of health satisfactory, a body temperature normal or subfebrile. Patients complain of pharyngalgias, a rhinitis, sometimes the tussis, the moderate pains in muscles. Acute pneumonias begin was acutely with a cold fit, a fervescence, signs of an intoxication (delicacy, weakness, pains in all body, a headache, absence of appetite). The Most frequent attribute of a lesion of organs of respiration - tussis (all over again dry, then with unit of a mucous sputum, it is rare - with an impurity of a blood); hoarseness of a voice, a dyspnea are a little bit less often marked.

Complications can be caused both the mycoplasma, and the joined bacteriemic infection. Purulent sinusitises, a pleuritis, a thrombophlebitis are seldom observed. The polyneuritis, a monoarthritis, a pericarditis, a myocarditis, a hepatitis, a hemolitic anemia, a fluid lungs concern to the extremely rare complications, etc.
