The infection from a uterus and appendages extends on lymphatic ways. Especially often parametrites develop at a combination of an inflammation and a trauma of various departments of genitals (after-abortive breaks of a neck of a uterus, a diathermocoagulation of a neck of a uterus, an operational wound of a uterus or appendages). The inflammation usually grasps the certain areas: from a forward department of a neck the infiltrate extends on edges of a bladder to a forward abdominal wall; from forward lateral departments of a neck - to ligament and lateral departments of a stomach; from back lateral departments of a neck - to walls of a basin; from a back department of a neck - to a rectum. The inflammatory infiltrate can resolve, fester or get chronic current.
