Premature sexual development - offensive of the period of puberty at girls till 8 years and at boys till 10 years.

Etiology, pathogenesis. At pathological processes of a gland, a hypothalamus there come the changes reminding those at normal puberty and leading intensifying of secretion of gonadotrophic hormones of a pituitary body, that, in turn, leads to the sexual development imitating so-called true premature sexual development both at boys, and in girls. At tumours of gonads, tumours or dysfunction of a cortex of adrenals there comes false premature sexual development: secretion of Gonadotropinums amplifies, and excessive production of sexual hormones a cortex of adrenals or tumours of gonads mismatches the changes inherent to the normal period, gonads remain infantile.

Signs. Acceleration of body height and augmentation of mass of a body, an advancing of contempoparies in sexual development. At girls - the augmentation of mammary glands, occurrence of a pilosis at a pubis, augmentation of a uterus, in some cases appear a regular menses. At boys - augmentation of external genitals, occurrence of a pilosis at a pubis and the face, erections, pollutions. The neurologic symptomatology can be taped: a headache, fast fatigability, a bulimia, a polydipsia, signs of a lesion of third cranial nerves.
