STERILITY

Sterility - disability of faces of genital age to reproduction of posterity within 1 year of a regular sexual life (the sexual relations not less often than an once in I shall allocate) without contraception. Approximately in 30 % of cases fruitless marriage is caused by disturbances in genesial system of both spouses. For finding-out of the reasons of fruitless marriage careful simultaneous inspection of both spouses is necessary.

The diagnosis of sterility at the woman can be put only after exception of sterility at the man and at the positive assay confirming compatibility of a semen and slime of a neck of a uterus. If at the woman, a living sexual life, never there came pregnancy, sterility is considered primary if in the past there was even one pregnancy - secondary. Sterility can be caused by anatomic and functional changes of uterine pipes (an obstruction, disturbance of a peristalsis), adherent process in a small basin - so-called tubal peritoneal sterility, less often pathological changes of a mucosa of a neck or a body of the womb. These changes complicate movement of spermatozoons from a vagina in a uterus and uterine pipes, transport and implantation of the fertilized ootid. In most cases anatomic and functional changes of a uterus, uterine pipes, the ovaries, leading sterility, are consequence of abortion and the transferred inflammatory diseases of a uterus and its appendages. Besides sterility can be observed at developmental anomalies, tumours of a uterus and ovaries, neuroendocrinal frustration and immunologic disturbances (occurrence of antiapermatozoal antibodies in an organism of the woman). The endocrine reasons of sterility are disturbances of maturing of an ootid and an output of a mature ootid from a follicle of an ovary in an abdominal cavity (ovulations) as a result of diseases or disturbances of function of ovaries, adrenals or systems of a hypothalamus and a pituitary body. Thus tap absence of an ovulation, a little bit less often a defective ovulation - the ripened ootid does not leave a follicle and is exposed to an involution, on a place of not broken off follicle there is a defective yellow body.
