You know that ...
The length of capillaries in a kidney makes about 25 kilometers. The filtrational surface of a kidney reaches 1,5 square meters.
TUMOURS OF A BRAIN

Tumours of a brain - depending on histological structure of a tumour of a brain share meningiomas, neurinoma of cranial nerves (mainly 8 pairs), metastatic, congenital and other tumours.

In relation to substance of a brain of a tumour can be intracerebral and outside of cerebral (meningiomas, neurinoma). Metastasises in a brain arise at carcinomas of a lung, a thoracal gland, a gastrointestinal tract and a thyroid gland more often, in a brain the sarcoma, a melanoblastoma less often metastasize. The Most part of tumours of a brain at children arises in a cerebellum (astrocytoma).

Signs, current. The clinical picture develops of the general cerebral and local signs. The general cerebral signs are caused by rising of intracranial pressure: the headache, a vomiting, congestive disks of optic nerves, etc. Depending on histological structure of a tumour and its localization speed of development of the general cerebral and focal signs widely varies. More often the clinical picture is formed during many months, and sometimes and years.

Focal signs depend on localization of a tumour. A tumour of a frontal lobe: change of mentality, defects of memory, epileptic attacks, disturbances of speech (at a lesion of a dominant left hemisphere), an anosmia on the party of a tumour. A tumour of a parietal share: local cramps, disturbance of sensitivity and movements in an opposite half of body, an aphasia at link sided localization. A tumour of an occipital share: abaissement of vision in opposite fields of vision, visual aura before a convulsive attack. A tumour of a temporal share: psychomotor epileptic attacks, an aphasia (at a lesion at the left), abaissement of vision in opposite fields of vision. A tumour of a cerebellum: disturbance of equilibrium and coordination of movements, a forwardness of attributes of an intracranial hypertensia. At a tumour of a pituitary body - neuroendocrinal disturbances, a bitemporal hemianopsia, augmentation of a turkish saddle.
