YELLOW FEVER

The yellow fever - the acute virus disease transferred by mosquitoes, is characterized by a fever, a serious intoxication, a lesion of a liver and kidneys. Concerns to quarantine illnesses.

Etiology, pathogenesis. The originator - an arbovirus, is quickly inactivated at a heat, under influence of disinfectants. It is long it is kept in the frozen condition and at drying. Signs, current. Illness begins suddenly with occurrence of the strong headache, the expressed back pains, a back, extremities. The body temperature to the extremity of the first day reaches 39-40°С and above. There is a hyperemia, puffiness of blepharons, an injection of vessels of scleras and conjunctivas. Pulse becomes frequent up to 100-130 1 minute. For 2 day of disease excruciating thirst, a nausea, a repeated vomiting all over again slime, and then bile join. Tongue dry, edges of tongue reddened. To the extremity of the initial feverish period (a stage of a hyperemia), for 3-4 day of illness there can be a cyanosis, an icterus, an insignificant impurity of a blood in vomitive masses. For 4-5 day of illness the state of health of the patient worsens, the body temperature decreases up to subfebrile (a stage of remission). However in some hours the body temperature again raises, the condition of the patient progressively worsens - there comes the reactive period. The face of the patient becomes acyanotic.
